meet the doctor

Dr. Denise Roper was born in Wiesbaden, Germany but primarily raised in Waco and has been a Wacoan for over 25 years. She’s been a witness to the exponential growth and transformation of this city throughout the decades and is excited to be part of serving its future. WellHaus was highly inspired by her family’s life in Wiesbaden, and she wanted to bring a piece of it here to her Waco community.

She is passionate about cultivating deep connections and creating space to listen and serve as a source of encouragement to those she encounters. Dr. Denise is excited to serve the whole family with nervous system focused chiropractic care, especially mamas, babies, and kiddos.

Dr. Denise holds a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from Baylor University as well as a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University. Having a strong desire to serve, Dr. Denise volunteered on international mission trips during her Doctorate program to bring Chiropractic to families in El Salvador and Guatemala alongside some of the greats in the profession. While in school, she became Webster Technique Certified and continues to train through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). She is currently working on completing her ICPA certification, a 200 hour post-doctoral study in caring for the Perinatal and Pediatric populations. Dr. Denise also has training as a Birth Doula from DONA International and is working towards becoming a BIRTHFIT Leader to better serve her expecting and postpartum mamas in her community.

Dr. Denise is here to serve you and your family as a facilitator to unlocking your healing potential from the inside-out through chiropractic care. She believes in God’s design for the human body — that it is self-healing and self-regulating under optimal conditions and is constantly learning to adapt to its environment.

When she is not serving her practice members, Dr. Denise enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband just welcomed their first baby into the world in January of 2023 and are eager to transform and grow into parents that raise kind, compassionate, God-loving beings.
