nervous system focused chiropractic

At WellHaus, we provide chiropractic care through the lens of looking to the nervous system first. All of the inter-workings of our bodies depend on a well functioning nervous system in order to heal and adapt to the environment around us.

Instead of trying to simply address your symptoms or change the structure of your body by looking to solely move and “crack” bones, we look for indicators using a gentle and specific Tonal analysis, called MC2, to identify where in your body there is stored interference to your nervous system. These interferences are called subluxations. Once the interference is located, we utilize different adjusting techniques to clear your body of these subluxations that are hindering you from functioning at your fullest healing potential.

No two bodies are the same, therefore no two adjustments will look the same. What your body needs, someone else may need more or less. At WellHaus, we utilize several different techniques to get your body back to a state of ease, including: Diversified, Activator, Gonstead, Thompson, Logan Basic, and the Webster Technique. All of which are performed in a manner that is gentle and specific to what you and your body needs.

who we serve

perinatal

We believe every woman should be regularly checked for nervous system interference throughout the preconception, prenatal, and postpartum period. Chiropractic adjustments can help mothers better adapt to the stressors experienced throughout each of these life-changing events.

Chiropractic care from a Webster Certified provider allows your body to be in its optimal state by addressing the pelvis, ligamentous, and musculature imbalances that occur during pregnancy so that you are better prepared for these huge life transitions with more ease.

Restoring balance within the nervous system helps to reduce tension within the body and helps support the ever-changing needs of your growing baby, reduce discomfort associated with pregnancy and help prepare your body for a smoother, shorter labor, delivery, and recovery during the postpartum period.

Some common challenges we can help with during the perinatal period include:

  • morning sickness, nausea,

  • reflux

  • round ligament discomfort

  • pubic symphysis dysfunction

  • hip flexor tightness

  • sciatica

  • difficulty sleeping/insomnia

  • postpartum recovery & realignment

pediatric

Newborns, infants and children can all benefit from regular chiropractic care. Whether your babe was delivered vaginally or by caesarean, birth is hard work for both baby and mama! There are lots of forces, both internal and external, that are exerted and cause trauma to newborns. These traumas can manifest into obstacles to your baby’s developmental milestones and overall health when left untreated, which is why pediatric chiropractic care is essential.

It is the highest honor and privilege when a parent or loved one entrusts us with their child to receive care, and it’s not something we take lightly. Dr. Denise has extensive additional training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and remains current on the newest research and education regarding pediatric care.

Many of our parents have seen improvement in their child’s health challenges with regular chiropractic care including:

  • colic

  • latching issues/painful latch for mama

  • tethered oral ties (tongue & lip ties)

  • torticollis

  • constipation

  • ear infections

  • asthma

  • bedwetting

  • ADHD and other sensory disorders

Daily physical, toxic, and emotional stress from our every day lives can accumulate and overload the nervous system, causing patterns of tension and stress to manifest in the body. With nervous system focused chiropractic care, the entire family can grow healthy, reach wellness goals, feel better connected, and live well together.

At WellHaus, we are firm believers that families who are regularly checked for nervous system interference together have better family connections, healthier households, and children that grow up to be thriving during their adolescence and adulthood.

  • headaches

  • migraines

  • allergies/sinus problems

  • anxiety

CLA INSiGHT Scans

At WellHaus, we offer state-of-the-art CLA INSiGHT scans to help us determine the state of your nervous system and give us a snapshot of how your body currently adapts to the physical, chemical, and emotional stressors around you. They give us objective findings that serve as a baseline to refer back to when progressing through your individual care plan. These scans are non-invasive and safe for the entire family, including pregnant women and even newborns! The findings from these nervous system scans tell us the primary location is of your neurological interference as well as if there is significant or severe dysfunction within your nervous system.

The INSiGHT scans are comprised of three tests: Thermal, Surface Electromyography (sEMG), and Heart Rate Variability (HRV), which collectively gives us vital information and a comprehensive look into the state of your health.

Rolling Thermal

This test measures the temperature along the sides your spine. Ideally, the temperatures should be the same. If they are not, this means there is dysfunction that hinders your nervous system from effectively communicating to your organs and glands.

sEMG

This test measures how well energy is distributed throughout the muscles in your spine. If there are asymmetries or imbalances present, this can negatively affect muscle tone and your posture demonstrating exhaustion and dysregulation within the nervous system.

HRV

This test looks to see how well your body adapts to stress over a period of time. Adaptability within the nervous system is key to having good overall health. This helps us see whether or not you are stuck in an overwhelmed or underwhelmed state.
